My Books

The Archivist

What if history's greatest mysteries were waiting to be solved by those bold enough to travel back and witness them? When brilliant but anxious inventor Grady Dennison accidentally exposes his newly created time machine to thrill-seeking nomad James Callahan in the ruins of Pompeii, the two forge an unlikely partnership to silently recover lost historical artifacts. But their clandestine enterprise takes a deadly turn when a ruthless corporate titan hires them to locate a priceless gold mine ledger lost in the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. Thrust into a desperate race against a collapsing city, a murderous betrayal, and the unforgiving laws of temporal mechanics, James must risk shattering the timeline to save Celeste Banfield, a woman destined to die in the rubble, igniting a lifelong journey as the legendary, time-traveling Archivist.

The Epsilon Book

When a rogue time tourist steals a top-secret WWII codebook from Bletchley Park, the timeline fractures, erasing the Allied victory and plunging the future into a fascist dystopia. To restore history, time-traveling archivists James, Celeste, and Grady must navigate a treacherous path through 1915 France, the secretive halls of 1942 British intelligence, and the deadly skies over 1944 Normandy. Racing against a ruthless corporate rival and the unraveling fabric of time itself, the trio must ensure the Enigma secrets stay in the right hands—before their own existence is permanently erased.

The Sovereign Thread

When a routine artifact recovery in 12th-century Cahokia goes disastrously wrong, time-traveling archivists James, Celeste, and Grady return to a 21st century they no longer recognize. Armed with a stolen temporal device, an ancient warrior has meticulously rewritten history to forge Tammeenoka—a technologically advanced, sovereign Native American empire that rivals the United States. While this new reality has miraculously prevented centuries of historical atrocities, it has also changed the course of millions of people's lives, including James’s beloved grandfather who's life has ended earlier than the original timeline. Caught in a deadly race against a ruthless corporate rival and an impending alternate-history war in the streets of Chicago, the team faces an impossible ethical dilemma: preserve a peaceful utopia born from stolen technology, or break the sovereign thread to restore their flawed, rightful history.

Redshift

One bullet in 1933 didn't just alter the past—it erased the future. In the thrilling continuation of the Archivist universe, a devastating temporal sabotage has replaced the world as we know it with the United Socialist States of America, a brutal regime born from a radical shift in time. When a routine recovery mission to 1984 goes catastrophically wrong, James, Grady and Celeste find themselves trapped in a crumbling, dystopian Chicago that shouldn't exist. Cut off from their own timeline and hunted by state enforcers, they must forge a dangerous alliance with a local revolutionary to correct the greatest wrong in history, or be consumed by a timeline that was never meant to be.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your books about?

Even see something online that you're an expert about and the source, whether it's TV, or a movie, or even a video game, they get it mostly right, like enough for the non-expert? And you're here frustrated because you KNOW its wrong? You're the kind of person my books are for, if you're like that about time travel.

I wrote my stories to play with time travel as a real thing, not a plot device. Paradoxes are real, what one does in the past affects the future and not just the active changes (but not step on a butterfly in the past and cause nuclear devestation in the future), and making sure you land on planet earth when you arrive is actually considered.

Right up front, I don't build the world we play in to the degree that a lot of authors do. I give you the details that matter and let your imagination fill in the rest. Why do I do it that way? I want you to put my book down at some point, hop on Google and learn the real history of what I'm talking about.

So if you want a strong character driven story, here ya go!

Why did you start writing?

To be honest? To see if I could. I started off trying to write The Archivist as a concept based short story for my community college student journal. I didn't do a good job, didn't get published and vowed to someday finish the short story as a novel. That was in 2016...yeah. Now I do it so I can tell my character's stories through to the end.

Can I purchase signed copies of your books?

Yes, but locally here in the Sacramento area. The reason for this is, I don't currently have a publisher, I'm using Amazon's KDP which means I don't have extra copies lying around. That means if I order the book, it takes weeks to get to me, but if you order the book, Amazon is all about getting it to you ASAP. So, with that being the situation, you have to bring me the book to sign, which I would LOVE to do. But until I get a stock of books, it's a bit of a pain.
